CariVu

CariVu uses a special transillumination (light) technology. It allows the enamel portion of the tooth to appear transparent while the areas of concern trap the light, showing the parts of teeth that require treatment. Visit Arbour Lake Dental Care in Northwest (NW) Calgary to learn more.

This technology allows the dentist detection of decay and cracks, sometimes otherwise not visible, and with very high accuracy. This method of detection does not utilize radiation and is an excellent companion to digital radiography.
